PHP/ MYSQL Training – May 7th , 2012 – May 11th , 2012

This is a 1 weeks intensive PHP / MYSQL practical class .  This class will cover beginners track only. The training curriculum is available upon request . The Intermediate Class starts from 21st - 25th May,2012.

What you will learn?

By the end of the class ,

  • You will have a working knowledge of PHP  and MySQL
  • You will have built several small projects in PHP / MySQL .
  • Be able to learn further on your own (1month after training support included)
  • Every participant will participate individually in a Code Sprint (a 24 hours programming to build a working project  ). The code sprint will be an opportunity to showcase all the knowledge acquired in the 1 weeks programme to build something that works.

How you will learn ?

The training is a Montessori type class with lots of practical on a daily basis. You will learn by doing . NO cramming in this class. just pure coding.

Where you will learn ?

The Training Location for the march session  is in Lagos , Nigeria. We shall communicate the exact Training venue to only registered trainees.

Outside Lagos ? You may contact us for  Hotel Booking information close to training venue. We are also working at running sessions at our presence all over Nigeria.

What you should do now ?

Training Requirement

Candidates must attend the training with

  • A laptop  (preferably Windows OS)
  • Proof of Payment
  • Proof of  Identification

Prerequisite

  • Participants must have a minimum of average working knowledge of  basic computer softwares including Microsoft Word and Standard web browsers 
  • Prior basic knowledge of HTML though not compulsory is  recommended – You can read up basic HTML at www.w3schools.com/html/

Pre Training Reading

Candidates are also encouraged to go through various available online resources on PHP including  W3Schools quick tutorial on PHP  (http://www.w3schools.com/php/) and SQL ( http://www.w3schools.com/sql ) 

This training will start from beginner level and touch on various theoretical topics , however we will dwell more  on  applying basic knowledge to build working projects.

Training facilitators are seasoned professionals who have built  and currently work on various advanced  PHP/MySQL projects with Bincom ICT Solutions.
