Access Bank Plc is currently running a campaign for members of MyAccess (the Access Bank Online Community) called Access Fans Connect . Four winners have so far emerged in the campaign with the first star-prize winner due to be announced by this Friday.

“MyAccess” is an emerging online community of Access Bank Plc on Facebook, created to extend online communication, collaboration and engagement with our online stakeholder demographics via the social network space. (www.facebook.com/myaccess)



Access Fans Connect is an online initiative aimed at rewarding Access Bank's top community leaders that have social influence within our community.  These are individuals who share our core values and interconnected relationships at Access Bank.

The more the number of an individual’s friends who are also members of this community, the higher the degree of influence the user wields , the higher the user’s “clout”

Past Winners
Since the campaign kicked off, we have had 4 weekly top fans who have smiled home with a Blackberry Smartphone each. Our past winners have included ‘Abioye Festus Adekunle’, 'Oladipo Jamiu' and ‘Abokede Adebayo’,

The user with the highest clout by November 18th , 2011 will go home with an iPad 2 .  


How it works
“MyAccess Clout” is an estimate of the degree of influence of an individual within the community.

As an estimate, “one Clout" is equal to one facebook friend who likes MyAccess Facebook community page. We have built a system to measure your Clout. The higher the number of your friends who are also members of MyAccess Community, the higher the user’s Clout.

To get started, a user needs to
•             visit http://facebook.com/myaccess and click on the tab Access Connect
•             Click on “like” to  become a member of MyAccess Community (if they have not done so already)
•             Users can then “See how you / others rank “ in the Community .  
(Important notice: Users would need to grant additional permission to access some data on their facebook profile for their clout to be calculated)
•             Users can subsequently monitor their clout on the application .
•             We have also compiled some suggestions to help users improve their clout and rankings on the MyAccess Community .

Every week, eligible community member with the highest Clout gets rewarded and at the end of this campaign, the  2 overall top influencers will  smile home with the grand prizes..
